Heel or foot pain from plantar fasciitis is a very common problem that can occur at any age, usually occuring after trauma to the foot and so typically only affects one foot , but can occur on both feet at the same time. The plantar fascia is an extension of the Achilles tendon which runs under the heel then spreads out across the sole of the foot and inserts into the base of the toes. Its function is to provide shock absorption on the sole of the foot as well as to lift the arch of the foot when walking. Plantar fasciitis is inflammation of the plantar fascia which causes pain under the heel or in the instep which is usually worst either first thing in the morning when one gets up or after a period of non-weight bearing rest and one puts weight on the foot.  The pain will often initially ease with movement, but after a while overuse will aggravate it too.

The singer died of cancer in December  and left everything to his fourth wife Laeticia and their adopted daughters. His older children are contesting this as French law forbids children from being excluded from inheritance. French media speculate that the rock star left up to €100m (£86m). A posthumous album, expected to be a big seller, is due out in 2018. In a letter to the South American country's bishops, Francis said he felt "sadness and shame" over comments earlier this year in which he accused the victims of committing slander. The letter, released by the Church in Chile, said the Pope would invite some of the victims to Rome. A Chilean bishop, Juan Barros, is accused of hiding abuses by a priest. Pope Francis made his controversial remarks during a visit to Chile in January. Defending Bishop Barros, he said: "There is not a single piece of proof against him. Everything is slander." Charles Ingram, a former British Army major, was accused of cheating his way to the jackpot on the ITV show by conspiring with his wife, Diana, and another contestant, who would apparently cough when the correct answer was mentioned. Ingram maintained his innocence throughout his court trial. Now, West End audiences are (literally) being asked to decide for themselves whether or not he was guilty - by voting via a keypad at the end of both the first and second half. "I
