The key to ensuring that your safety is cooling

Big rain has been plaguing many parts of East Africa and causing property damage and deaths.
In Kenya, more than 10 people have died after being flooded by floodwaters.
Most of them have died traveling to the house or in the truck trying through flooded areas.
How can you protect yourself while you are on the way?

National Security Council officials (NTSA) and the Red Cross Association of Kenya have provided advice that can be very useful during this rainy season.
- Be aware that during the summer, dust, sand, and various types of waste disappear on the road. When the rain rains, it makes the road a television and so with a car it's important to drive your car with a steady speed as your car will not be able to easily control your car.
- Because of the water, it is very difficult to bend during the rainy season and thus the risk of a car hit on the road is high. You are advised not to drive a fast drive.
- Because of the rains, the passengers often walk around and hang their heads down and may not see the car approaching. Carriers are advised to be more careful when they reach the ferry on the road or when they see someone crossing the road. For pedestrians, they are advised to use split ferrys and take more precautions as well.
- For motorists, if the road is flooded, it is best to look for another route through a test rather than into the water. It is difficult to estimate the depth of the water when it floods.
- When the rain rains, the motorists have to turn on the lamps to enable them to see ahead and also to get closer to the vehicles ahead of them. Water driven by the front car can interfere with the vehicle if it is too close. You are advised to follow the principle of 3 seconds, that is the time that human beings see and take action. If you do not, until the time you see the one standing before you and taking action you will already have caused an accident.
- Car brakes are affected by water, so when driving a water-flowing area, it is best to drive a slow motion. This will enable the brakes to dry.
- Drivers are also advised to use their hands to control the direction of the car to ensure that they properly control the vehicle.
- Passengers, motorcyclists and motorcyclists are advised to wear well-arranged clothing or light-colored clothing. This will enable a person to be seen by the drivers and to hampen the risk of being hit.
- Do not drive your car into the water drainage, either on the drainage or on the river. It is very difficult to estimate the power of the water. Most cars are driven by drivers water trying to cross rivers or using flooded bridges. Rain also weakens bridges, which you may not understand. The bridge can be demolished without his knowledge and you and you entered the river while expecting the bridge still exists. Deep water for one hour can apply for your car. For human walks, six inches of water can apply for you.
- If you have your car, make sure your motorcycle mirrors are working. This will enable you to mirror the mirror and see the front while you are on the road.
- If you have a car and start to drill, leave the oil and direct the car on the side that flows. If you are able to control the vehicle, start rolling the wheels again and turn on the road. Make sure you remain calm and do not take any action suddenly.
- Do not go faster. If you have a long trip, start early to ensure that you do not have the pressure to go faster and arrive.
- When driving, do not hesitate to use your phone or do anything that will prevent you from concentrating on driving.
- If you are on a journey, do not miss your car or start doing your activities near the river during the rainy season.
- It is best to listen to radio stations and television to get acquainted with hijacking and where the rain is causing flood or flood to occur.
- Do not walk in water or muddy areas that are likely to have electrical cables that have fallen. If your house floods too much water, make sure you are warm.
- If you walk on foot, use a stick or stick to estimate the depth of the water.
- Floods emerged from the existing area, and immediately refugees are high and secure.
